The  USS  SAVAGE  web site does not collect any personal information about it's viewer's.  Please

note the following exceptions:

1.  There are two (2) forms on this site.  Membership Application,  and  Address Corrections.  The

information gathered from these  forms is used to post your listing under our Membership Rosters

and on our E-mail the Crew pages.  We also file a paper copy of this information in our "Log Book"

which  is made  available for viewing  by those  shipmates who attend our annual reunions.  Upon

submitting either of these forms to the webmaster, you hereby grant your permission to allow this personal information to be posted on the internet.   If  you do not want your information posted on

this site (but still want your name placed in our hardcopy "Log'"),  kindly  inform  your  webmaster

Diane C. Day, and I will not publicly post any information of yours.   Please note that these are the

only instances where I "use" your information.

2.  There is a guest book available on the  Introduction page  of this website.  Any information you supply here is on a voluntary basis.  The guest book  is  intended  to  let  the  viewing public see who has visited  the site, and if they have served aboard The USS SAVAGE - perhaps to reunite shipmates. If you do not want your entry to be viewed,  please  refrain  from signing the book.  Please do not sign the guest book if you are not thirteen (13) years or older.  I do not collect this information to pass on to anyone.  Messages containing solicitations will be deleted by the webmaster.  Profanity will be deleted also.  Inappropriate  messages  will  be  deleted  at  the  webmaster's  discretion.

3.  Homestead  Technologies,  Inc.  (RealTrackerFree)  provides  this  webmaster  with  complete

details of visitor activity.  This information includes statistics on:  browsers, operating systems, screen resolutions, Javascript, Java, cookies (accepted or not), visits by Internet Provider, demographics per continent, country, time zone, and language.  This information is password protected  and  cannot  be  viewed  by anyone other than the webmaster.  This information is only

used  to  ensure  a  smooth  and  customized  viewing  experience for visitors to the site.  Names,

street addresses, telephone numbers, or e-mail addresses are not collected.  No individual can be identified from any data that is collected.
